On November 15, 2009 Kelly and Tracy geared up for and ran the Big Sur Half Marathon on Monterey Bay.  The weather was great that morning.

We caught up with them at about Mile 5.  Kelly doesn't even look tired yet.

Look who the girls ran into, Keri Jerzykowski.  Sister Sara and their mom Shawn were also running just a little further behind.

They made it to the turn around at about Mile 7.  They are wearing a little electronic tag on their shoes that acknowledges them when they cross that "Red Stripe Sensor" on the ground.  No cheating allowed here.

Kelly's done.  Let's Party!  That was followed by a beer.

Tracy's family sent her a gift to be opened if and when she finished the race.  Look, its a little charm that says 13.1.  They also sent a card with it where Garrett said "I guess if you opened this you must have finished and didn't die.

This is Kelly and Jon's friend Chi.  She ran the race so fast that I missed her at the finish line.
